Summer Freedom 2017

Duxplex Summer Freedom 


Summer Drop In Program Begins July 5th and will be available M-F through the end of the week of August 21st (last day 8/25)  Ages 6-12.

This exciting programming will have your child busy with several different types of activity:

Each week participants will experience: 

Arts and crafts

Various turf/outside sports like Flag Football, Soccer, Dodge-ball, Kickball and Basketball.

Various Duxbury Bay Experiences Like:  Stand up paddle boarding, Kayaking, Motor Boat Riding, Sailboat Riding, Ecology and trips to Captain's Flat.  (DBMS staff will provide primary supervision and will distribute life jackets and other relevant safety gear).  Visits to DBMS will vary week to week and will be posted at least a week in advance.  Tides govern much of our DBMS visits.

Transportation will be provided by GATRA with Duxplex assistance.  $2 round trip.

Days run 9am-4pm.  Please pack lunch or provide lunch money and permission to walk to Bench Warmers or Green Light etc.

AM Block will run 9am-12noon and PM Block will run 1pm=4pm.

Payment options:  Our base cost is listed at $39 per block however you may pay on line the actual relevant amount based upon your registration needs.

Cost:  $39 per block, $65 per day.

Cost for a.m. session + DBMS $49

Cost for DBMS + p.m. session $55

Although there will be space limitations placed upon some DBMS activities which will be resolved by a first come bases, all registered children will be guaranteed Duxplex activities.

UBH Strength & Conditioning

A challenging, dynamic, non stop total body workout. Strength, agility, multi directional movement, this class has it all.

UBH Group Train

With more emphasis on strength, this 45 minute class includes intervals of conditioning, plyometrics, and resistance exercises.


UBH Bootcamp

An effective workout, using high intensity drills with low impact weight, cardiovascular training combined with intervals of maximum effort.


UBH Bootcamp Yoga (Will be reinstated this Summer)

A fast paced power yoga class that combines strength-work and stretching.  You will challenge your balance and work on core and stability while engaging your entire body.



Wednesday 5:30am-6:15am  Sunday 8am-8:45.

We are honored to have Jim Bunnell instruct this class.  Come see what makes this class so special.
